The Galician soprano Emilia Pérez López is currently studying the fourth year of the Superior Grade in singing specialty at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Vigo, where she also studied the Professional Grade until 2019. He has been studying with Professor José Antonio Campo Edesa since 2019 and, in addition, he has also received classes with Francesca Roig since 2021. He is currently in the Crescendo program (2023) of the Teatro Real in Madrid.
During her training period, she has won numerous prizes in different national singing competitions, such as the 3rd prize in the VII Soloist Competition of the CSM of Vigo, in June 2021; the first prize in the IV National Singing Competition Ciudad de Albacete, in November 2022; and, in December 2022, she was a finalist and winner of the Andrés Gaos Prize of the V Singing Competition Compostela Lírica.
In addition, in the 2021 and 2022 courses, she has been one of the winners of the Mirna Lacambra Competition to participate in the XXV and XXVI professionalization courses of the Escola d’Òpera de Sabadell. First in the role of Berta in Il barbiere di Siviglia and, in 2022, in the role of Donna Anna in Don Giovanni .
She has also participated in the premiere of the operetta A single line on the sea shore by F. Ruibal in January 2022; at the opera workshop of the CSM of Vigo playing Susanna in The secret of Susanna Wolf-Ferrari; in the III Encontro-Residencia de creadores Emerxentes Mariñan, in June 2022; and, in October 2022, she sang in the recital of new voices of the Galician lyric within the season Otoño Lírico of the Asociación de Amigos de la Ópera de Vigo.
